로마시대(?)로 부터 온천이 있기로 유명한 독일
전국에 걸쳐 사우나가 많고 누구나 즐긴다.
아마 우리나라 찜질방 만큼은 좋아하는것 같다
예전에 독일에 들렀을때 프랑크푸르트에 있는
유명한 남녀 혼탕 사우나를 간적이 있다.
아래층은 수영장등이 있는 평범한 물놀이 시설이고
2층은 남녀 혼탕 사우나인데,
다들 너무 자연스럽고, 같이 어울리다 보면 혼탕이라는 생각은
전혀 들지 않고 정말 편안하다.
프랑크푸르트에서 멀지 않은 곳에 있어 S-Ban 노선 5번만 타면 바로 갈수 있다
내릴곳은 Bad Homburg. 내려서 버스를 타도 되고, 택시를 타도 된다.
택시비는 10유로도 안될거다.

This amazing (what shall I call it? spa?) is somewhat famous in Germany, as it is an excellent place to do sauna, and has the splashy attractions of various hot pools, showers, etc. To me the best part is the upstairs, where one can enjoy about 10 different 'stations' for enjoying a true sauna experience. You get different sauna buildings set off from one another, each with different features, such as eucalyptus, citrus, etc scent. Also, be sure to try the infusion (Ausguss), which is INTENSE (steam with essence for inhalation). If you do it properly, you'll need all of the two or three hours which comprise a typical stay. (Best part? It's all nude upstairs, and unisex. The European attitudes toward public nudity are definitely on display here, no pun intended.) All in all, a wonderful way to relax and get away. This is also located in a mountain town north of bustling Frankfurt, Bad Homburg. This review is the subjective opinion of a TripAdvisor member and not of TripAdvisor, Inc.
