This amazing (what shall I call it? spa?) is somewhat famous in Germany, as it is an excellent place to do sauna, and has the splashy attractions of various hot pools, showers, etc. To me the best part is the upstairs, where one can enjoy about 10 different 'stations' for enjoying a true sauna experience. You get different sauna buildings set off from one another, each with different features, such as eucalyptus, citrus, etc scent. Also, be sure to try the infusion (Ausguss), which is INTENSE (steam with essence for inhalation). If you do it properly, you'll need all of the two or three hours which comprise a typical stay. (Best part? It's all nude upstairs, and unisex. The European attitudes toward public nudity are definitely on display here, no pun intended.) All in all, a wonderful way to relax and get away. This is also located in a mountain town north of bustling Frankfurt, Bad Homburg. This review is the subjective opinion of a TripAdvisor member and not of TripAdvisor, Inc |
